Summer Trail Rides
There are several opportunities for overnight trail rides in the coming spring/summer. In the interest of keeping the main page of the site to a manageable size, click here for information!
Summer Open Shows
(leasors must lease for July to go to these shows)
If anyone is interested in coming with Lisa to any of the following horse shows, she would like trailering deposits by June 14th (can be post-dated July 1st) to hold spots. There is limited trailering available, so first come (paid), first served. For Smith/Athabasca or Lac La Biche $140 including GST payable to Lisa Friedenberg. If you have trailer spots available, please also let Lisa know also.
Click here to find and print off reigstration forms for the shows you want to go to. You do not need to be a member of the North Country Circuit. We also go camping the night before so you must bring a tent or camper or share with someone (no hookups, but bathrooms available). Parents are welcome to attend, but if they can't Lisa doesn't mind supervising a few kids as long as some parents come, so just talk to her if your parents can't attend.
July 12/13 (leaving Colchester 6pm, Friday July 11, back late Sunday night) - Smith & Athabasca

2 shows -- have halter, english, western, reining, trail, $35-40/day, ribbons and cash prizes, tie horses to the trailers overnight, stalls available at Athabasca if you want one, concession available or we can organize meals with the group
July 20 (leaving Colchester 3pm, Saturday, July 21, back late Sunday night) -- Lac La Biche
-- halter, english, hunter hack, dressage, western, reining, trail, $35/day, ribbons and cash prizes, tie horses to the trailers overnight, we will stop for supper on Saturday in Boyle, concession available Sunday.
WEEKLY Arena Group Lesson Schedule as of August 2, 2007:
Mondays -- Lisa 2:00-3:00pm, Iris 5:30-9:30pm jumping and flat group lessons
Wednesdays -- Lisa 5:30-9:30pm jumping and flat group lessons
Thursdays -- Iris 6:30-9:30 flat group lessons
Fridays -- Lisa 5:30-8:30pm flat group lessons
Saturdays -- Lisa 10am-6pm jumping and flat group lessons
PRIVATE FLAT LESSONS ARE WRITTEN on the CALENDAR that do not always happen every week. We try to have the calendar up to date at least one week prior to events.
The 4-H club uses the arena one Sunday per month. There are 36 members in 4-H this year, so it will be really busy! Please ride before or after the events (times will be posted here when they are available)
