Our 4-H club has 36 members that take weekly lessons in different disciplines, through the stable lesson program, as well as organize monthly clinics (usually 1 Sunday a month), a trail ride, Christmas volunteer activity, public speaking, roadside clean-up fundraising, bowling, galaxyland, waterpark, lip sinc, musical ride, fun horse shows, Focus on 4-H year end show July long weekend at Northlands Agricom. If you love horses and want to learn more and have fun with new friends, join the Colchester Crusaders 4-H Club!
Nigel has created a blog for the Colchester Crusaders. This blog is for our 4H members to record his or her experiences in our club. If you wish to post on the blog, click here. 2008/2009 Organizational 4-H Meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2008
Our first meeting of the 2008/2009 4-H year will be held at the Colchester Community Hall across the street from the stables. New members and parents information and introductions will take place from 6-7pm. from 7-8:30pm all 4-H members and parents must be in attendance to discuss the schedule for the year. The registration fee is $60, payable to Colchester Crusaders 4-H Club (cheques only). Fees MUST be brought to this meeting. To be in 4-H, you must be between 9-20 years old as of January 1, 2009, and either own or lease a horse. Talk to Lisa about leasing options -- we can take cheques for leasing at the meeting if you are not sure about 4-H.
